Global Rotomoulding Brand Study
Built From the Ground Up
Some manufacturing businesses begin with capital, some swanky strategy decks, and market research.
Global Rotomoulding began to try and solve farming problems.
Founded by brothers Lester and Howard Ferry, the business didn’t start inside a corporate office. It started with two guys spotting a small rotomoulding machine for sale on YouTube, and deciding to build the products they wished they had on their own farms.
There was no brochure.
No website.
No marketing department.
Just a small rock n roll moulding machine and a practical mindset.

Today the company spans two plants, one in Victoria, the other in Queensland.
From Farm Frustration to Factory Floor
The brothers’ farming background shaped everything. They understood equipment failure. They understood downtime. They understood that in regional Australia, gear simply has to work.
In the early days, they would design and fabricate moulds themselves. Once a product was ready, they would literally knock on doors and ask customers if it was something they’d use.
It was direct.
It was personal.
And it worked.
Over time, Global Rotomoulding grew from those early agricultural products into a diversified manufacturer with facilities in Queensland and Victoria.
Today, they operate across:
Agriculture
Mining
Water treatment
Play equipment
OEM manufacturing
Much of their current work involves producing custom components for other brands — becoming a trusted manufacturing partner behind the scenes.

Today Global Rotomoulding works across a number of sectors including agriculture, mining, play equipment, industrial and their OEM solutions, plus much more.
A Reputation Earned, Not Marketed
When Larissa joined the business as second generation leadership, branding wasn’t a focus. The company had built its reputation the old-fashioned way: through relationships.
But as the business grew and scaled, something became clear.
Customers couldn’t always trace products back to the source.
As Larissa shared:
“Customers were returning saying they had struggled to find Global again because there was nothing clearly identifying the product’s origin.”
When Practicality Meets Brand Identity
Plastic has always posed a challenge for branding.
Nothing sticks to it easily.
Spray stencils work for calibration marks — but not for long-term brand recognition.
For Global, branding needed to meet the same standard as their products:
Durable
Professional
Easy to apply
Consistent
As Larissa put it plainly:
Brand recognition matters because it builds trust. Customers want to know who made the product and feel confident that the company stands behind it.

Supporting Growth in a Changing Market
Global Rotomoulding grew up in an era where door-knocking built a business.
Today, customers research suppliers online before ever picking up the phone.
That shift requires visibility, consistency, and professional presentation.
Branding plays an important role in that evolution.
It ensures that whether a product is sitting in a paddock in Queensland or part of an OEM system in Victoria, it clearly reflects the manufacturer behind it.
Built on Relationships
One theme stood out during our conversation with Larissa: Global prefers working with companies that share similar values.
They want long-term partnerships.
They want mutual reputation.
They want reliability.
And that mindset extends beyond their customers to their suppliers.
Since 2012, Global Rotomoulding and PSI Brand have worked together — a partnership that began simply because customers needed to be able to find them.
From those early stencilled markings to permanent identification, the evolution reflects the company’s broader journey from hands-on startup to established manufacturer.
Looking Forward
From farming roots to OEM partnerships, Global Rotomoulds growth has been practical, persistent, and grounded in real-world need.
At its core, the philosophy remains simple:
Make products that work.
Stand behind them.
Make sure people know where they came from.
And keep building from there.
